Over the past few days I have been constructing two separate family trees. The first shows love and marriages within the book and the second shows the births and deaths of the characters in relations to one another – it includes their date of birth, death and marriage.

After re-watching spectre it has become apparent that the content of this film is not as relevant to my work as other films and books; therefore I am going to eliminate the film from further investigation.

Over my two week holidays I have watched several of the films that will be beneficial for my study, including; the prestige, spectre, wuthering heights, don’t look now and the birds. My previous EPQ supervisor has left so therefore for the time being I am continuing with my EPQ by myself taking previous feedback she has given me to improve the work I have as well as continuing to begin my essay so to ensure that I do not fall behind.

I have not been doing work on my EPQ over the last week and will not be able to do anything on it until after the 18th when I have my last coursework deadline for English. This is because my coursework currently has priority over my EPQ and making sure that it is handed in is crucial as I can work and catch up on my EPQ at a later date.

I have spent today continuing my research on Wuthering Heights. I completed not only a timeline of what happens in the book but a brief context page about Emily Bronte and the reception of Wuthering Heights. I plan to continue and complete this and the quotations and analysis over the coming days.

Over the course of the past few weeks I have been continuing to find relevant quotes from wuthering heights. I am currently working on discovering quotes which are relevant to the topic of love and revenge. My work includes not only the quotation but a brief explanation of why I have chosen the specific quote as well as the page and line you can find the quote on.

I am now beginning a page where I am writing about the book wuthering heights, I intend to include; a general synopsis, a brief character list. I am then going to type up a list of quotations I found beneficial and why as well as summary of the chapters. I intend for this to take a few days due to the increased content that will need to be included.

I briefly wrote a page about what books I was going to be deeply studying and which ones I would be briefly looking at as well as the possible films I will study in addition to my research.
